Prohibited Items Policy

1. Always prohibited

• Stolen property, items with removed or altered identifying marks, or goods the seller is not authorized to sell.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, prescription-only medicine and unlawfully supplied medical products.
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, prohibited weapons and components intended to create or modify them.
• Counterfeit goods, pirated media, forged documents, fraudulent financial products or items that infringe intellectual-property rights.
• Human remains, live animals, protected wildlife, endangered-species products or unlawfully obtained cultural property.
• Pornographic or exploitative content, hate material, personal data, hacking credentials or devices primarily intended for unlawful access.
• Recalled, dangerously defective or unlawfully modified products; unsafe food; and any item whose sale or possession is unlawful.

2. Regulated and restricted items

Alcohol may be listed only where the seller is legally authorized, the listing is approved by the administrator, and age and identity are checked at collection. Tobacco, vaping products and other age-restricted goods are not permitted unless the platform adopts a specific verified-seller programme. Vehicles, phones, computers, food, antiques and branded goods may require serial, ownership, licensing, provenance or safety information.

3. Serial-number safeguards

Phone and Computer listings require a serial number or IMEI where applicable. It is stored for seller and administrator review and is not displayed publicly. Altered, missing or suspicious identifiers may cause rejection, suspension or referral to the appropriate authority.

4. Enforcement

Administrators may request proof, reject or remove listings, cancel auctions, preserve records and suspend accounts. Attempts to disguise prohibited items or move prohibited transactions into private messages are also violations. When uncertain, do not list the item until written approval is obtained.
